Experienced Garment Screen Printer

The role itself will be dynamic - we currently offer a range of in-house and outsourced services to clients, so the successful applicant will be expected to assist in other areas of the operation; such as HTV, DTG, Embroidery and finishing (training will be provided if necessary)

What you will be doing:

• Preparing for printing; including prepping and reclaiming screens. Using inkjet printers to print film positives and selecting the correct mesh count screens for the particular project.

• Printing up to 6 spot colour jobs on a manual press.

• Quality control throughout the entire process; from un-bagging items, to customisation and post-print inspections to ensure everything that leaves the facility has passed quality control.

• Occasional assistance in warehouse operations such as sorting stock, preparing equipment, loading designs - this may include the use of embroidery and heat transfer vinyl equipment. Training can be supplied where necessary for these roles.

• Maintaining a clean and sanitary working environment.

Screen Printer requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years worth of screen printing experience. This must be in the production side of screen printing
• Good eye for design and quality control
• Proficient and meticulous with their work
• Experience in production management; including implementation of new and efficient processes to maximise productivity throughout the working day
• Embroidery/ heat transfer vinyl experience is preferred, but not necessary (training will be provided)

Shift Patterns and Working Hours:

• Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm
• Potential for overtime work on evenings/ weekends during busy periods
• 9 working hour days with 45 minute unpaid break
